Family Services Coordinator
Kaitlyn Manning-Smith
My name is Kaitlyn Manning-Smith and I am the new Family Services Coordinator! I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know where I come from! I have been in the human services/social services for quite a few years. My undergraduate degree in human services with a focus on mental health and my graduate degree is in human services with a focus on administration, and I am also a licensed community health worker. I have worked in group homes for adults with varying mental health concerns, I worked as a supervisor for many years in a day program for adults with both physical and intellectual disabilities. From there I was a case manager with TVCCA. I worked with individuals and families who needed assistance with everything from basic needs to more extensive/crisis management, so I am familiar with local resources. I also helped to co-run a program for senior adults who were recently discharged from the hospital or long term facilities (nursing homes). Most recently I come from being a program manager where I oversaw ten programs from top to bottom for adults with acquired brain injuries. Through my experience I have become familiar with local resources and have the opportunity to collaborate with many other agencies to assist individuals and families. I look forward to getting to know everyone and assisting families!
