Jenny Felix

My name is Jenny Felix, I was born and raised in Port-au- Prince Haiti. I speak, write and read English and Haitian Creole. Educationally, I earned my Bachelor’s in Human Services at Post University and Master of Social Work at Quinnipiac University . I’ve worked in different in different fields under the Mental Health umbrella and looking forward into gaining more knowledge within my current role as a Case Manager. Recently, I worked at Children with Special Needs at Glastonbury as a Behavioral Technician for children with Autism. I completed my graduate fellowship as a school social worker at Norwich Free Academy. Over the years I’ve stood as an advocate for Mental Health at my church Evangelique Psaume 23 with the intention of decreasing the stigma around Mental Health in the Haitian community. For fun I like to cook, try recipes from different countries, hiking and spending time with my awesome nieces and nephews.
